Leanne essays the title role in Euripides' Andromache with American Thymele Theatre as part of their 2014 New York Euripides Summer Festival, heading a cast of 18 to perform this ancient rarity in traditional staging, performed outdoors and free to the public. Andromache opens July 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the East River Park Amphitheatre; additional performances are July 29 at the same time/location, July 30 and 31 at 6:00 at the Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell, and August 2 at 8:00 p.m. at the Glicker-Milstein Theatre at Columbia University

12.05.13Alto Soloist in Handel's Messiah with Norwalk Symphony 12.7.2013

Leanne sings the alto solos in the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah, with soprano Amelia Watkins, tenor Thomas Young, and bass-baritone Michael Rice. Jonathan Yates conducts the Norwalk Symphony in this family-friendly "Holiday Extravaganza," where the audience will sing along with the choruses. 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.

09.19.13Leanne selected for semifinals of Art Song Preservation Society of New York song competition

Leanne will compete in the semifinal round of the Art Song Preservation Society of New York's Mary Trueman Song Competition on Saturday, November 2nd, at the National Opera Center (the semifinal round is closed to the public). The finals will be held on March 29, 2014.

Leanne is part of the ensemble cast (role: "Mezzo Soprano 1") in the world premiere of Danish composer Line Tjornhoj's Oration, which closes The Center for Contemporary Opera's "New Opera Week" residency at The Cell Theatre, 338 West 23rd Street, New York, New York.
